Rachel Svoboda

Rachel Svoboda is an advertising executive and business leader at Saatchi and Saatchi, one of the largest international advertising agencies with offices in over 80 countries around the world.  Working in the Los Angeles office, Ms. Svoboda works primarily with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. and specializes in motorsports, including NASCAR.

Known for her marketing abilities, Ms. Svoboda has made a name for herself in the world of advertising by leading strategic advertising and marketing campaigns for top-ranked companies.  She exhibits the tools of a true leader by inspiring those around her with a “lead by example” attitude.  Ms. Svoboda has a strong passion for advertising mixed with creative vision, project management and successful problem-solving abilities.  She is respected in the industry for the quality of work and strategic value she brings to her clients.Ms. Belasco currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Board of the company.

Ms. Svoboda has been an Account Executive at Fraser Communications as well as Hamon & Associates where she gained broad experience working on successful campaigns for some of the industry’s top companies including, Cedars-Sinai, East West Bank, Flex Your Power, Frederick’s of Hollywood, LA/Ontario International Airport, Singapore Airlines, and United Way.

 

She has managed several key pieces of business which range from traditional forms of media to cutting-edge viral and grassroots campaigns.

 

Ms. Svoboda has a passion for philanthropy and in 2003 was actively involved with fund-raising and public relations for the Wall of Hope: Breast Cancer Survivors Foundation in Northern California.  In 2004 Ms. Svoboda joined the MassMutual Women’s Advisory Board, whose primary goal is to facilitate and advocate financial education among women and girls.  In 2005 she became a member of Step Up Women's Network, a national non-profit membership organization on the cutting edge of women’s social philanthropy who are dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls.

Rachel Svoboda graduated from the University of California Davis where she received a double major in Communications and Sociology and then attended Whittier Law School in Orange County.  She has continued her education with classes at UCLA, the Southern California American Marketing Association, and was granted the “Outstanding Achievement Award” from the American Association of Advertising Agencies in 2006.Early in her career, Ms. Belasco was honored as the Outstanding Business Woman of the Year for Retailers in Los Angeles. In the ensuing years, she directed product introductions and marketing campaigns throughout the United States and Europe. Today, she is a recognized leader in innovative product development in the environmental fragrance industry.
